Job Description

We are looking for a full stack software developer that will be involved in the design and  development of online (web & mobile) applications as well as their integration with existing backend systems.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Software design and modelling
  • Requirements gathering and analysis
  • Software design and modelling
  • Software development/implementation considering code integrity and intelligibility
  • Integrate software components and third-party applications
  • Software testing, troubleshooting/debugging and support
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems
  • Recommend and execute software improvements
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Maintain versioning standards
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Fulfil any other duties relevant to the role assigned by the company’s management.

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • University/college degree in Computer Science or similar
  • No experience needed - new University/College graduates are welcome
  • The more you know of the below, the better:
    • HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (AJAX, JQuery)
    • Core and Enterprise Java development using JSPs, Servlets, Java Server Faces (JSF), Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java Persistence API (EclipseLink) and RESTful web services as well as PrimeFaces API
    • PHP
    • MySql/MariaDB
    • SQL
    • Mobile Development
      • Cocoa
      • Swift
      • SwiftUI
      • Material Design for Android
      • Apple Human Interface Guidelines
  • Experience with the below will be considered an advantage:
    • Development of Windows apps
    • PHP/MySQL MVC frameworks such as Yii, Smarty or similar
    • Databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
    • NetBeans, Eclipse or similar IDE
    • Version control systems (SVN/Git)
    • Issue tracking software (Jira)
    • Application server platforms such as Payara, Glassfish, Tomcat or similar
    • Software integration via API or Middleware
  • Ability to work in both Windows and Linux/Unix (shell) operating systems along basic administration skills for both
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving capabilities
