<p>The Data Centre is located in the heart of Limassol, Cyprus' international business centre.</p>
<p>The Data Centre consists of two fully interconnected (fibre, CAT6A, CAT6) yet fully independent computer rooms at the 4th floor and basement of the buildng with roof space for satellite dishes and terrestrial antennas.</p>

<p>19", 42U and 36U, industry standard racks with RETMA rails and square holes. The racks are floor stabilized, bayed with each other and independently grounded.</p>
<p>All racks are locked and have perforated doors while blanking panels are used to fill gaps and optimize air-flow by preventing hot and cold air mixing and directing cold air where equipment is installed.</p>
<p>Racks laid out in cold and hot aisle arrangement: redundant N+1 HVAC system blows cold air at the front of racks where equipment 'breathes' and hot air is sucked at the rear of racks where equipment exhausts heat. Environmental conditions compliant to ASHRAE 2011 standard for A1 class Data Processing Environments (room temperature maintained at 25<sup>o</sup>C±2<sup>o</sup>C and relative humidity at 50%±20%.</p>
<p>Power and data cabling at the 4th floor is laid under raised anti-static and fireproof floor in separate trays.</p>
In the basement there's rubber antistatic floor while all power and data cabling is in separate overhead trays.
<p>Carrier neutral: BGP peering with multiple carriers/ISPs each of which has two redundant fibres coming to the data centre from different carrier POPs through different routes and entering the building through diverse entry points. Redundant Cisco ASR 1001-X routers.</p>
Fully redundant Cisco Catalyst 6509-E core switch distributes bandwidth to clients through dedicated and isolated VLANs, offering the option to peer directly with one or more carriers or get multi-homed bandwidth supported by multiple ISPs. Automated route failover and optimal routing at all times are guaranteed.
Two independent (A+B) 1-phase or 3-phase IEC309 power feeds per rack, 0U metered and switched PDUs and option for Static Transfer Switch (STS) sockets for redundant power provision to single corded devices.
Modular power distribution allows quick deployment of new circuits of any capacity, 1-phase or 3-phase, without downtime and without intervention from an electrician.
Fully independent and redundant (2N, A+B) dual-input UPS units with hot swappable batteries and electronics modules guarantee zero downtime during maintenance.
Redundant (2N, A+B) DCC (Data Center Continuous) generators with at least 12-hour runtime independence at full load will kick-in within seconds in case of utility power outage. Each generator is able to support the full data center load on its own. Generators are regularly checked and serviced while load test is performed every 3 months.
<p>Generators switchgear and bonding with utility power through ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches): both generators start automatically in the event of power outage (i.e. one generator is not backup of the other) ensuring the ATS does not ever become a potential single point of failure. TNC-S grounding system and 3-pole breakers ensure neutral continuity in all cases (very important for quality of electricity).</p>
Fully redundant A+B power (concurrently maintainable) all the way from source to the rack (including path) with no single point of failure.
SystemSensor FAAST IP Controlled Aspiration Sensing Technology: very early, highly accurate and reliable fire detection. One of the most advanced fire detection systems that exist.
Double-knock, 2-stage fire suppression system requires fire indication from both FAAST (aspiration system) as well as optical/laser HSSD (high sensitivity smoke detectors) for automatic triggering, thus minimizing the possibility of false triggering and site disruption.
Clean and colorless, leaving no residue, environmentally friendly, safe for humans and electrically non-conductive and thus, suitable for use in computer rooms FM-200 fire suppression agent with nozzles above and underneath floor.
Full CCTV coverage of all entry ways, building areas and site’s interior using infrared colour cameras providing high quality time lapse video under all light conditions. Recordings are stored on UPS-powered NVR system and retained for a minimum of 30 days.
Multi-zone/multi-level dual identification access control system with proximity cards and access codes complements customer-defined access lists. Full event recording and monitoring for all doors when opening/closing. Access records, door access transactions, incident reports and access requests all indefinitely retained.
Racks' keys are kept in secure area and are locked in heavy-duty 16-gauge steel cabinet with clutch mechanism that prevents forced entry. Tough and foolproof patented TouchPoint Pushbutton lock provides maximum security and access to authorized personnel only.
Intrusion detection system utiliziing motion sensors which create a complex electronic perimeter that is impossible to bypass.
Multiple sirens will go off in case intrusion is detected while security guards will arrive onsite within minutes.
All Data Centre systems are monitored around the clock with procedure-based reaction to any possible incident inline the company's ISO9001:2015 certification. All critical systems are connected to UPS while in addition, all security systems have built-in batteries for operation up to 48 hours.
Deployed client equipment (servers,storage systems and network gear) in a rack in the data center.
Business continuity office space with private LAN for fast direct access to your servers/data and high speed Internet connectivity for quick recovery of fundamental operations in case of disaster at your primary location.
Fully equipped conference room with large screen, whiteboard, multi-party and point to point IP video conference facility and conference phone are available for use as part of the business continuity facility or on a per-request basis.
Secure storage for customer equipment until ready for deployment or for storage of client cold spares.
